This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how GRNRM Talent Network Pvt Ltd. ("GRNRM Talent Network Pvt Ltd.", "Creator Unit", "Greenroom", "we", "us" or "our") collects, protects and uses the information you ("Creator", "User", "you" or "your") provide or authorize when you use the Creator Unit creator platform - where creators connect their social accounts and apply to brand campaigns (the "Platform" or "Services"). It also describes the choices and rights available to you regarding that information. This Policy does not apply to companies we do not own or control, including the brands you apply to or the social platforms you connect.
Information you provide
We receive and store information you knowingly provide to us - for example, your name or email address when you contact us, subscribe to updates, or fill in a form on the Platform. You can choose not to provide certain information, but some features may then be unavailable to you.
Information from your connected social accounts
The core of the Platform is connecting your Instagram or YouTube account. When you choose to connect an account, you sign in through the platform's own official login (Instagram via Meta, YouTube via Google) and grant us permission to access certain information. With your authorization, we collect and store:
- your account identifier, username or handle, and display name;
- your profile picture and profile URL;
- your follower or subscriber count and available engagement metrics;
- the email address associated with the account, where the platform provides it;
- an access token that allows us to retrieve the above information from the platform's API.
We only access the information you authorize through the platform's permission screen. We never receive your social account password, and we never post on your behalf.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Platform, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends. This data may include your device's IP address, browser type and version, operating system, language preferences, the pages of our Platform you visit, the time spent on those pages, and access times and dates. This information is used to operate the Platform, identify potential abuse, and produce aggregate, non-identifying statistics about usage.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to: verify that you control the accounts you connect; show your profile and statistics to brands running campaigns you apply to; match you with relevant campaigns; operate, maintain and improve the Platform; respond to your queries; and, where you have opted in, send you newsletters or updates. We process your information where you have given consent, where it is necessary to provide the Services you request, where we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving the Platform, or where required to comply with a legal obligation.
How we share your information
We share your information only as needed to provide the Platform:
- Brands: when you apply to a campaign, the brand running that campaign can view your connected profile and statistics so they can review your application.
- Service providers: vendors who host and operate the Platform on our behalf, under obligations of confidentiality and security.
- Legal and safety: where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and against fraud, as described below.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Instagram and YouTube data
We access Instagram information through the Meta Graph API and YouTube information through the YouTube Data API, in each case only with your authorization and only to the extent you permit. Our use of information received through these APIs complies with the platforms' developer terms, including the Meta Platform Terms. For information obtained through Google APIs, our use adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use this data only to provide the campaign-discovery and matching features described in this Policy; we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it or transfer it to third parties except as described here.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your connected-account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. You can disconnect a social account or ask us to delete your data at any time by contacting info@creatorunit.com. When you do, we delete the information we hold about you and revoke the associated access tokens, except where we are required to retain certain records by law. If you revoke our access through Instagram or Google, we stop accessing new data and delete what we hold in accordance with those platforms' requirements.
Your rights
You may exercise certain rights regarding your information processed by us. In particular, you have the right to:
- withdraw consent where you have previously given consent to the processing of your information;
- object to the processing of your information where the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent;
- learn whether information is being processed by us, obtain disclosure regarding the processing, and obtain a copy of the information undergoing processing;
- verify the accuracy of your information and ask for it to be updated or corrected;
- restrict the processing of your information under certain circumstances, in which case we will not process it for any purpose other than storing it;
- obtain the erasure of your Personal Information from us under certain circumstances;
- receive your information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, have it transmitted to another controller without hindrance.

Information transfer and storage
Depending on your location, providing the Services may involve transferring and storing your information in a country other than your own, including India where we are based. You are entitled to learn about the legal basis of information transfers to a country outside your own and the security measures we take, by contacting us.
Information security
We store the information you provide on servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and we maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, you acknowledge that (i) there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet beyond our control; and (ii) the security, integrity, and privacy of information exchanged between you and the Platform cannot be guaranteed.
Privacy of children
The Platform is intended for adult creators. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13, and you must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to apply to campaigns. If you have reason to believe that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to operate the Platform - primarily an essential, httpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in after you connect an account. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand usage and improve the Platform. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. Most browsers let you control or decline cookies, though declining the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in.
Newsletters
We may offer electronic newsletters to which you can voluntarily subscribe. You may stop receiving them by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails or by contacting us. You will, however, continue to receive essential transactional emails related to your account.
Data breach
In the event we become aware that the security of the Platform has been compromised or your Personal Information has been disclosed to unrelated third parties as a result of external activity, including security attacks or fraud, we reserve the right to take reasonably appropriate measures, including investigation, reporting, and cooperation with law enforcement. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals where we believe there is a reasonable risk of harm or where notice is otherwise required by law.
Legal disclosure
We will disclose information we collect, use, or receive if required or permitted by law - such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process - and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request. In the event of a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be among the assets transferred.
Changes and amendments
We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, effective upon posting of the updated version on the Platform. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of them.
Acceptance of this policy
You acknowledge that you have read this Policy and agree to all of its terms and conditions. By using the Platform or its Services, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree, you are not authorized to use or access the Platform and its Services.
